Located in the semi-arid Pali district of Rajasthan, India, the historic town of Sojatis universally acknowledged as the "Henna Capital of the World." This recognition is not simply due to scale, but rather the unique environmental stress factors of the region.
The rocky, limestone-rich soils of Rajasthan combined with high daytime temperatures (reaching up to 48°C) force the henna plant (Lawsonia inermis) to synthesize an exceptionally high volume of lawsone pigment to survive. This pigment is what gives our henna its high staining power, resulting in richer copper-red tones on hair and deep mahoganies on skin.
